Biography[]
Mathew Thompson is a minor character of the Jolly series, appearing as the main protagonist in Jolly 2.
He is a night security guard for the LHS Shipping Co. Cargo Ship, guarding the cargo, animatronics and equipment.
Background[]
After a tragic incident involving the previous security guard Eric Smith, Thompson is hired by LHS Shipping Co. to replace him as the new security guard for the cargo during Night 7.
Other than this, nothing is known about Thompson or his life prior to the events of Jolly 2.

Thompson's Pink Slip
Replacing Smith, Thompson begins his first night as a security guard (Night 7/Custom Night). Thompson doesn't receive a phone call on this night, so it can be assumed he was taught about his duties and how to handle all of the equipment/devices prior to his shift.
He somehow survives against the animatronics on his first night, but is immediately fired the same morning by the company because of "damaging and tampering" with the cargo equipment. He is given a pink slip as Thompson is forced to leave the ship.
Thompson's fate after this is unknown, though it could be said that he continues on with his life safe and sound.
Trivia[]
- Thompson is probably based on Fritz Smith from Five Nights at Freddy's 2, as both characters work just for one night before getting fired.
- Another reason why people think that the message above the pink slip is the same in both games.
- People speculated Matthew Thompson to be the Protagonist for Jolly 3: Chapter 1.
- This was then proven false by Weshek, as it turned out to be Jack Carson.
