Jobs are a feature in Jollibee's: Phase 2. They're a way for the player to earn some extra cash to upgrade their tools in the LBM Shipments Warehouse. The jobs are completely optional, but if the player feels like getting extra money, they have to do some of those tasks.
Gameplay[]
There are 4 jobs the player can do, each of them involving boxes. In each job, the player has to deal with one of the animatronics, or two in the case of the Driving Minigame. The animatronics have similar behaviors. Each of them will appear behind the player, in either the left, right, or middle. The player must shine their flashlight (by holding down the CTRL key) on them to make them leave. Occasionally, they will breathe on the player when the latter is facing them. If that happens, then the player must hold their breath (by holding down Shift on their Keyboard) and NOT shine their light on them. When the player stops hearing their breathing, that means the animatronic(s) left. If the player shines their light on them when the animatronics breathing, or if they completely ignore them altogether, the animatronics will kill them, forcing the player to start the whole job over. Below is each of the jobs:
Box Transportation[]
In this job, the player must use a forklift to lift up some boxes on the bottom shelf and place them on the correct spot on the top shelf. Each pile of boxes has a number on them, and the player must place those boxes on the spot with the same number on the top shelf. The player must use WASD on the their keyboard to move the forklift, and the SPACE bar to pick up and drop the box piles.
The animatronic the player encounters here is Popo.
Box Checking[]
In this job, the player must check some boxes out, and (by using the panel to the right of them) see if they are the correct box needed to be transferred. There are two buttons on the panel: Continue and Reject. If the box's labels matches with the panel's data, the player must click Continue. If they don't match, the player must click Reject.
The animatronic the player encounters here is Yum.
Printing[]
In this job, the player must print some boxes. When a box is loaded in front of the player, the panel in front of them will display the boxes' label ID on top, and another set of numbers will appear on the bottom. The bottom set's numbers will count up from 0-9. The player must make sure the bottom set of numbers matches the ID. The player must click the SELECT button on the panel to stop each number from counting up, and after a number has been set, the next number will start counting up. After every number on the bottom set matches with ID, the box will be shipped off, and the next box will appear in front of them. There are a total of 15 boxes the player needs to print out.
The animatronic the player encounters here is Twirlie.
Driving[]
In this job, the player uses a panel to control a box-transporting robot. They must use the WASD keys to move the robot, and use SPACE to pick up/drop off each box. Each box has a letter, and the player must pick up each box and drop them in square to the right that matches with the letter.
Unlike the 3 other jobs, there are TWO animatronics the player has to deal with here. The first one is Hetty, who is sitting in the truck behind the player. She'll occasionally move out of the truck, and the player must shine their light on her to make her sit back down. If the player ignores her and doesn't shine their light on her, Hetty will kill them. The other animatronic is Jollibee. He works the same as Twirlie, Yum, and Popo from the other 3 jobs. Be careful when he's breathing, as not shining the light can risk Hetty moving out of the truck, and could even risk in a jumpscare from her.
Trivia[]
- In the Box Checking job, there is a glitch. After you finish a box, you can still click the "Reject" and "Continue" buttons, they're just invisible. This can be very overpowered in the job, as it has no effect on the box and it can help you know if it's correct or incorrect. Everytime you click on the buttons, it will play a beep sound. If it's the correct box, it will play a happy beep sound. If it's the wrong one, it will play a sad beep sound. You can use this to exploit the job.
- In the printing work, the back part, (and also the sound of the flashlight) was taken from the old game of Ivang (University)
