Shadow Maxie becomes active on the second night, alongside Shadow Tweetie. He would randomly appear in a camera the player clicks on or leaves on when opening the camera monitor. If they see him, they must quickly switch to another camera, but, if the they stare at him too long, the camera monitor will be automatically put down as he will then appear in the Office, indicated by his voice line, block their screen with a close-up of his face, and stun them for a few seconds before leaving, which puts at a high risk of the player getting killed by Withered Jolly or Withered George.
